In 2016, Rebecca Cathrine Kaad Ostenfeld, a farmer in Hólar in Hvammssveit, West Iceland, received a letter that did not include her correct address written on it. What it had in place of a written-out address was a hand-drawn map—a drawing. Remarkably, this letter sent by a group of foreign tourists who had stayed in the countryside of Hólar, was successfully delivered to Rebecca and her family. That is one impressive postal system, alright!
